I saw an interview with Queen Silvia on TV in which she told a really sweet story about Madeleine when she was young:
Madeleine came to her mother with a purse full of Swedish crowns (the money in Sweden). Her mother wanted to know how much money she has in this purse. Madeleine put one coin after the other out and counted "One dad, two dads, three dads,...".
