I just saw the cover of the current edition of the Swedish magazine "Svensk Damtidning". The headline says that Madeleine has been chosen as the world´s most beautiful princess.
I´d like to congratulate her in this way and in my opinion, the jury did a good choice.

I saw an interview with Queen Silvia on TV in which she told a really sweet story about Madeleine when she was young:
Madeleine came to her mother with a purse full of Swedish crowns (the money in Sweden). Her mother wanted to know how much money she has in this purse. Madeleine put one coin after the other out and counted "One dad, two dads, three dads,...".

I think it´s a pity that you can´t vote for everything.
I have chosen class, but all the other possibilities also reflect my opinion.

I think that Madeleine is a very beatiful young woman with a lot of elegance and grace. She knows how to deal with her life and her duties as a royal. She has her own style and sophistication.

Then I will start with introducing myself.

I´m a 15 years old girl from Germany.
I live in an -in my opinion- uninteresting city nearby Cologne.

My interests are reading, listening to music, traveling, languages (I speak German, English, Swedish, French and a little Hebrew) and of course Sweden.
I have relatives in Sweden and I love the amazing nature, the language, the people; so to speak the Swedish way of life.
Especially interested am I in Princess Madeleine. She is very beautiful and seems to be really nice.

How I began being interested in Madeleine? For my Swedish lesson, I had the homework to write an essay about Madeleine. My teacher had given me an issue of the Swedish magazine "Året runt" with an article about Madeleine´s 25th birthday.
Some time ago, my homework was to write an essay about Crown Princess Victoria. That time, I wrote one page. I thought that it would become something like that about Madeleine and to be honest, I didn´t feel like writing this essay. But when I had read the article,  I started thinking different. I realized that Madeleine and I have many similar interests and I liked her somehow (I still do!). And however, I sat down at my desk and wrote four pages about her life, from her birth to now.

Some days later I used Google to find out more about Madeleine. Among others, I found this site which I think has the potential to become something really great.

And as I am called Magdalena, my name day is on July 22nd, just as Madeleine´s.

If you have any questions, don´t hesitate to ask.

I have magazine articles with pictures of Madeleine, two Gernan ones and some Swedish ones. But unfortunately I do not have a scanner now but I will probably get one around Christmas. So if you´d like to, I could scan the articles then and send them to you.

Madeleine and Jonas look really pretty together. I´d also like to see more pictures of them.
But in the photo of the first article of this thread there are really only Jonas Bergström and Emma Pernald. As far as I can remember, the picture was taken on King Carl XVI Gustafs 60th birthday on April 30th, 2006.
